NBP Liner - of on a long trip

The small general cargo ship NBP Liner sailed late this afternoon for Santos, Brazil after bunkering. The ship is of German origin, flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda. It was built in China by Nanjing Huatia in 2011, and is 6,668 gross tons, 9,274 deadweight tonnes.
Built as Baltic Liner it is operated by the large Boockstiegel Reederei, but is part of a small fleet under charter to Navis Chartering of Singapore, and only adopted the "NBP" prefix. in February of this year. There are currently eight ships in the NBP fleet, all of similar size.
Notable is the raised deck forward, giving additional capacity, but also protecting the fore deck from weather.
